Adele Magic

ADELE. For the first time, as a singer, I think she can’t impress me. It’s OK, she has a nice voice but I feel it is customary. Of course as a singer, not as an ordinary people like me. As we know, in everywhere a singer must be sounded well. That’s what I mean. She ever made a little tremble in my mind when she sang Skyfall, the opening song of James Bond movie. But that’s what I said before; it was ordinary way how a singer should sing a song. Finally, all my opinion was change when Adele sang “Chasing Pavements”.

Maybe different from other, I’m usually not too much give an attention for many songs that people know. Such like Adele’s solo “Someone Like You” or “Don’t You Remember”. I’m a type of someone who searching other amusing songs that people rare know. It’s just like an extraordinary challenge if I can find them. Perhaps that’s fate what make me be met with “Chasing Pavements”. I make an underline: be met. Sorry if it sounds insist because this song came to my ear unintentionally when I played Jango application in my tab. Its acoustic version makes me much in love. (Check out the YouTube link below)

In my searching, I also find some another songs that match my sense of music, maybe because she sing with improvisation jazz skill. There are two songs that have different title but actually they are the same. Perhaps they were labeled different each other because they were sung with dissimilar way. Compare “Something About the Fire” and “Set Fire to the Rain”. Sure, we will find the same lyric. One Adele’s song that I like and thing not everyone know is Lovesong. I guess, Adele is a singer who really has a great skill to shape her voice. She can sing with a glamour pop style like in an orchestra. Smart to make a rock touch when we listen “Rumor has It”. Otherwise, she doesn’t lose her sense of jazz and still enjoy sing in a swing style when she performs “Lovesong”, “Best for Last”, or “He Won’t Go”. That’s why I love the way she is. ***
